I purchased this for my 60-lb greyhound. She’s a retired racer and was very nervous in cars. I used to have to lift her up into it because she wouldn’t get in or out voluntarily. Simultaneously she let her curiosity trump any anxiety, so she would stand up to look/sniff out the window during dangerous traffic times. So sitting her on a blanket wasn’t enough. I needed her to be secure within a canopy so she didn’t fall off the seat if I came to an abrupt stop. I don’t take my dog in the car too too often. Maybe 2-4 times per month. I’ve washed it 3 times and it has come out perfectly fine. The standard size is large enough for a large dog bed. After long walks she sprawls out on this canopy and heads to sleep. She now runs to jump in the car without prompting, and is disappointed whenever I take the car without her.
I highly recommend this brand!

Yup, this fit the bill perfectly for the 2023 Rivian R1T. (I assume all years of the R1S/R1T are the same)
It is very durable material. Has quite a few features (like openings for the seat belts).
It is definetely a good investment if you care for your car's "health". Especially my dogs shed quite a lot and and have sharp claws so if you drive them in your car a lot, this is perfect!
Worked well in a RAV4. Well made and quite simple to use.
